Paducah – The Kentucky Commission on Human Rights (Commission) Board will hold its regular meeting on Thursday, August 6, 2026. The meeting will take place at the Paducah City Hall, located at 300 S 5th Street, at 10:00 a.m. (CST). The meeting is open to the public.
All meetings will be broadcast live on YouTube. Anyone who would like to speak at the meeting should call 1- 800-292-5566 for more information.
The Kentucky Commission on Human Rights is the state government authority that enforces the Kentucky Civil Rights Act (Kentucky Revised Statutes Chapter 344), and through its affiliations with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, enforces federal civil rights laws.
The Commission is the state government agency charged with enforcing the Kentucky Civil Rights Act. The Commission receives, investigates, and rules on jurisdictional complaints of discrimination. The Act prohibits discrimination in public accommodations, employment, housing, and financial transactions based on race, color, religion, national origin, disability, and sex. Additional protections include familial status in housing; age (40 and over) and pregnancy in employment; and tobacco-smoking status in employment.
