To celebrate the enhanced walking path and new shelter at Albert Jones Park, join us for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 1 p.m.

This summer, the existing walking path was removed and replaced with a new, wider six-foot path. The path also was extended to create a full quarter-mile loop for the community to enjoy. Crews added a picnic shelter, providing a shaded gathering space for families.

Albert Jones Park, located at 855 Joe Bryan Drive northeast of Brooks Stadium, is a neighborhood park on the former Henry Clay Elementary School site.
